Rentervention is a program created by Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing to provide legal advice, resources, and answers to questions impacting tenants in Chicago. Rentervention is free and confidential.


Staff assists low-income clients in fighting unwarranted evictions and recovering security deposits. They also work with tenants whose landlord has allowed the building to fall into disrepair.
